It may sound a bit like Grand Theft Auto, but Sleeping Dogs is a different beast altogether. The Slow dimension slows everything down while you still move at a normal pace, the benefits of which are crucial to solving puzzles. An object that’s too heavy to move in the real world becomes ten times lighter in the Fluffy dimension, so you can position it at will to get to previously unreachable places. The Professor’s nephew uses a glove to switch between four different dimensions named Fluffy, Heavy, Slow and Reverse Gravity. The game was created by Kim Swift whose previous work includes Valve’s hugely popular physics-based puzzle game Portal and the similarities between the two games are plain to see. Fortunately, he is still able to observe and communicate with the real world so he enlists the help of his twelve-year-old nephew (who happens to be visiting him at his mansion) to facilitate his escape. When an experiment goes wrong he becomes trapped in a pocket dimension with no memory of how he got there.
